We’ve barely had time to grab a cuppa since our last huge weekend of music and we’re back to announce the next instalment in this year’s Sound Doctor program.<\/p>\n

Some of Australia\u2019s best-loved singers \u2013 Jessie Lloyd<\/a>, Emma Donovan, Deline Briscoe and Jessica Hitchcock \u00ad\u2013 invite you to discover<\/a> the hidden songs and lost stories of 20th<\/sup>\u00a0century Indigenous life on the missions in this entertaining and enlightening musical experience. From cultural identity to love and loss, these unique songs connect\u00a0the traditional with contemporary to reveal\u00a0the continuation of cultural practice and song traditions of our Indigenous elders, families and communities.<\/p>\n

AN EVENING WITH
\nTINPAN ORANGE<\/strong><\/p>\n
We are very excited to be bringing Tinpan Orange<\/a>\u00a0to Anglesea. With the ethereal and mesmerising Emily Lubitz at the helm, joined by her brother, guitarist Jesse Lubitz, and violin virtuoso Alex Burkoy, their heavily stylised dark-folk-country music combines the highest levels of song craft with an aching, sweeping romanticism.<\/p>\n

Supporting them on the night will be local talents Lucy and the Diamonds, a stripped back version of the popular band Lucy and the Night Sky<\/a>.<\/p>\n
